A scent salon with Generation by Osmo

On the evening of Thursday, July 10, the Bowery Hotel transformed into a sanctuary of scent. Velvet-draped and candlelit, the space welcomed over one hundred guests into our scent salon: a celebration of fragrance at the edge of art and algorithm.

The theme: The scents of our time.
‍

An exploration of how olfactory innovation is reshaping the future of scent. It was a night to honor scent as a medium of memory, expression, and design, and to discover the tools shaping its next chapter.

Part I — The scent exhibition

‍

Guests entered into an alcove that displayed the six newest fragrances launched by our collaborators, created with our Olfactory Intelligence technology.

‍

Guests moved slowly from station to station, lifting cloches, closing their eyes, whispering notes to each other. Around the room, floral installations hinted at the languages of scent found in nature.

‍

Part II — The fireside chat

‍

As scent settled into the room, our fireside conversation began. A panel of innovators and culture leaders gathered under soft spotlights to reflect on the power of fragrance in identity, storytelling, and community.

Moderated by author and actor Jenny Mollen, the discussion was relatable and real.

Part III — Preview of possibilities

‍

Our founder and CEO, Alex Wiltschko, stepped into the center of the room for a private demo of our newest scent design tools.

‍

Guests were invited to smell a collection of experimental scents created with Olfactory Intelligence, based on deeply personal briefs submitted by our team members. From a cathedral's sacred incense to the cherished memory of a coastal wedding, each was a glimpse into what fragrance can become.

Part IV — To savor and take home

‍

To mark the occasion, we served two signature beverages: a petal-pink "Osmopolitan" and a crisp "Gen. & Tonic" infused with botanicals.

‍

As guests departed into the warm July night, they received a curated bouquet of fresh flowers and a scent sample created with Olfactory Intelligence. A momento, to carry the evening home.

‍
